Cámbiate a Firefox

¿Por qué cambiar de navegador? Hay muchas razones...
Firefox es mucho más seguro que Internet Explorer, esa debería ser la primera. Controla las ventanas emergentes y no deja instalar automaticamente software malicioso. Dispone de pestañas y un montón de características más que hacen mucho más cómoda la navegación. Pero si necesitas algún añadido, dispone de infinidad de extensiones...

Pinchando para verlo a tamaño completo, se pueden ver varias extensiones: RainFox, para buscar temas relacionados haciendo doble click sobre una palabra; IETab, para cambiar el motor del navegador a Explorer, (usando Explorer dentro de Firefox!); NoScript, para bloquear JavaScript, Flash y otros a voluntad; AdBlock, para bloquear banners (¡La página de Marca sin publicidad!) y ForecastFox, con información sobre el tiempo. Estos son solo una porción de todas las extensiones que se pueden encontrar. En la página de Firefox Add-Ons se pueden ver un buen número de estas extensiones.

Pero si esto no fuera suficiente con añadirle funcionalidades para personalizar tu navegador, su aspecto también se puede modificar hasta dejarlo irreconocible con alguno de los temas que se pueden obtener libremente en Internet. Una buena parte de ellos se pueden encontrar en Firefox Add-Ons. Sus posibilidades de configuración son practicamente infinitas, ya que al ser una aplicación de código libre, la comunidad en Internet tiene acceso a sus entresijos, así que puede crear y modificar cuanto quiera, y ponerlo a disposición de los usuarios de forma gratuíta.

Como ves, Firefox no es solo una alternativa real a Micro$oft Internet Explorer, sino que va un paso más allá, ya que es superior técnica y esteticamente al producto del multimillonario Bill Gates.
